Everything you need to know about Motorcycle Live
Every November the NEC in Birmingham is taken over by the motorcycling world for nine whole days with four halls completed dedicated to all things two wheels. Often called the NEC Motorcycle Show, bikers from far and wide travel to Birmingham to get the first glimpse of the newest releases for the upcoming year as they touch down on British soil for the first time.
All manufacturers, the big boys through to the new kids on the block, are housed under one roof to finesse their latest rides to the public who get a chance to get their leg over, book a test ride and find that perfect bike.
As well as manufacturers, there’s plenty of trade stands selling all new biking gear (usually with fantastic show offers too), motorcycling related awareness groups and a chance to win plenty of goodies.
There’s plenty of entertainment to enjoy throughout the day with live interviews with the big names including TT racers, British Superbike winners and much more. You can check out the Arenacross take over with their epic stunt show three times a day, which is completely free to watch as well!
Getting there:
If you’re braving the cold in November for a ride to the show then there’s free indoor parking for motorcycles. If not, and you’re opting for four wheels then there’s plenty of car parks to pull up in and jump on the shuttle bus to the main arena.
The NEC has a train station attached to it so you can travel by train if it’s easier – it only takes just over an hour direct from London!
