Malle Mile
When? Late July
Where? Kevington Hall, London
Everything you need to know about Malle Mile
Malle Mile describes itself as the greatest and most inappropriate motorcycle racing festival in the country; it takes place over one whole weekend in late July at Kevington Hall, on the outskirts of London. The event itself is organised by Malle London, creators of some of the finest motorcycle luggage. After a few years breaking into the motorcycling scene, the two owners decided there was something missing thus creating the ‘Malle Mile’.
The Malle Mile celebrates the best of motorcycling culture encouraging bikers from all walks of life to get involved in the event, sign up to one of their wacky hill climb races or even take part in the moto polo. You can book yourself on for the whole weekend, camping in the ground of Kevington Hall is encouraged and you’ll get to wake up to the smell and sounds of motorbikes for two whole days.
During the day it’s all about the racing, whatever class you decide to ride in from the sprint race to the hill climb – there’s even a mini mile race for kids!
In the evenings, you’ll have a chance to hang out at the Metropolis where there’s live music, a pop up bar and plenty of places to grab a bite to eat. Bag yourself a hay bale and get comfy spot to watch the Midnight Mile which takes place on Saturday evening. This event is for electric bikes racing in the dark, it’s pretty special to watch!
