Triumph Bonneville 900 Bike Overview
The Triumph Bonneville 900 has excellent build quality and is a good performing motorcycle overall.
It has a low seat with easy-to-reach bars so you can sit comfortably on this bike for a good few hours without any discomfort. The 19-inch front wheel swings nicely under your control and the bike has a good feeling of power when you’re on it. It gives a smooth ride, and the twin cylinder motor although noisy, pulls away well enough. From 2008 onwards, the fuel injection engine was introduced and it was increased in capacity to 865cc.
What’s also great about this bike is that it is easy to maintain and oil at home. It’s a low cost bike to run overall. You’ll want to keep the paint in good condition with regular cleaning, though. Insurance is low on this bike and you can pick up a second hand model for pretty cheap. These machines tend to wear and tear a lot slower than other bikes, so you’ll get a lot out of it.
You can also get a lot of accessories for this bike. This includes seats, engine covers and panniers which you can pick up at your local dealer or online.

The bonneville is a good looking, easy to ride and cheap to run fun bike.

Easy to ride but can be a little snatchy especially in slow moving traffic. It picks up nicely on the open road, wind buffering is a problem with standard set up but flatter bars and fitting a screen help.
It's powerful enough and pulls nicely although can be a little snatchy in slow moving traffic.
Cheap as chips! Easy servicing makes it great to have as a hobby for weekends and sunny days.
Some annoying corrosion on the spoked wheels despite regular cleaning but the paint is as good as new, not bad for a 9 year old bike!
Brakes are adequate and do the job Well, No problems.

Superb does everything I want of it and since we found and removed the (new licence) restrictor it rides ever better.

The build quality is good but could have been better. The coating on the engine cases and the chrome particularly.
Great I've had no trouble with them, they stop me quicker than my old BMW ABS.

It's an attractive machine, it brings people over and they want to know more, they want to take photos and that's before it starts it's engine, it sounds just as good as it looks, I personally love the riding position. A wonderful machine, great for those looking for something different. A proper head turning proposition that is happiness on two wheels.

Triumph fitted centre stand can get too close to leg in operation. Allow bike to cool before centre stand or risk attaining a matching scar to my right leg.
