KTM 990 Super Duke Bike Overview
Introduced in 2005, the KTM 990 Super Duke has a fuel capacity of 17.5 litres, top speed of a staggering 151mph, maximum torque of 73 ft-lb and 120bhp. Despite the power, this bike is extremely responsive and easy to control, with brilliant WP suspension and quality brakes.
Designed by Gerald Kiska, this naked bike was updated in 2007 and 2012, with an R model hitting the market from 2008 to 2011.
As it’s a KTM it is predominantly built for off road riding, although the 990 Super Duke can handle roads to. The light frame makes it easy to manoeuvre and pick up speed. The slim, lightweight design does make it near impossible to carry a pillion and rather uncomfortable for a larger rider.
