Kawasaki ZR-7 Bike Overview
The Kawaski ZR-7 is more than capable of giving you a thrilling ride. With an engine that gives you plenty of oomph, to a suspension which can be forgiving at the best of times, a great ride is assured from this excellent bike.
The only problem is that the bike is a heavy piece of equipment and the performance does lack slightly due to this, but none the less the bike is epitome of quality.
In terms of new build bikes, you could say the original Kawaski ZR-7 is prehistoric but, with unique updates over a number of influential years in the motorcycle industry, this bike has become a favourite amongst experienced and new riders. The bike itself has some pretty good factors, including: a massive fuel tank, adjustable clutch and brake levers, wide mirrors and an incredible seating position, all of which makes this bike easier to ride.
Picking up a second hand one of these will not be difficult as there are ample available across the internet and at extraordinary prices as well – considering the actual build of this bike is to a good standard.
Whether you are a new or experienced rider, you can guarantee that this bike will be more than enough to get your adrenaline pumping or if you are travelling long distances, it will make your ride a lot more comfortable than some of the other bikes around this range. You can pick up a pre-owned version of this bike between £1000-£4000.

Owner Reviews
Pros
If you want a reliable, comfy, fuel efficient and all round decent bike look no further than the ZR7S it does everything a bike should do and is a great first big boy bike. I use it everyday and I trust it implicitly, as long as you maintain the usual stuff the bike will keep going and going.
Cons
Lower tax bracket

Vibrates at certain revs in certain gears but once you are familiar with these you ride through them
750 quad carb old school, 0-60 bout 4.5 seconds tops out at 140ish plenty quick enough for a tourer
Lower tax bracket
Old school built solid
Could use an aftermarket upgrade to braided hoses but twin front brembo disc and twin pot calipers are more than capable of stopping the bike quickly
Pros
Comfortable, great all rounder and extremely practical along with cheap running costs and an easy to maintain engine make this the perfect bike for me! I love my bike and wouldn't change her for the world. Easy to maintain, comfortable to ride and with the added top box hugely practical! The ZR7S was designed to eat the miles up and it does it well.
Cons
The bike could come with better brakes along with stiffer stock suspension.

Smooth enough, however a very heavy beast, doesn't enjoy a corner too much!
Powerful enough for day to day use. I enjoy the usability of the power.
The bike could come with better brakes along with stiffer stock suspension.
Very impressed, no issues at all!
Brakes could be better, I have upgraded the lines and pads which made a huge difference and comes highly recommended.
