Honda SP-2 Bike Overview
The Honda SP-2 sport bike offers a big V-Twin engine with plenty of torque and ease of handling combined with comfort and good looks. There are mixed review about where the SP-2 comes into its own; being a super bike it has been created for the race track but many owners comment that this is a bike which can hold its own on the open road just as well as it does on the track. It does suffer a little when at low rpm but then, this is a bike which has been created to ride at full throttle so it’s not really the type of bike you would look at for every day commuting.
For a Honda, fuel economy is surprisingly poor but nothing you wouldn’t expect with a bike of this size and standard and it is a competitor for a number of the other leading names in the biking industry. What the bike does offer is the Honda level of reliability and excellence; you will find little to criticise on this bike and with regular servicing it’s a bike which will last the test of time.
The price is pretty fair, especially if you are considering a second-hand bike; there are some really great bargains to be had and it is definitely worth taking a look at the used market before buying new; this is a bike which has split opinions and people either love it or find it isn’t for them so it makes more sense not to pay full whack when you could pick up an SP-2 at a snip on the used market instead.
