Honda FX 650 Vigor Bike Overview

The Honda FX 650 Vigor was first released in 1998 and stayed in production until 2003, when it was discounted. Often matched with the Suzuki Inazuma 250 and the Kawasaki Versys 300, Honda’s FX 650 Vigor is still a popular machine today.

Often pegged as a great bike for taller riders, with a seat height of 845mm, there’s plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the ride without feeling cramped up if you’re long legged. With the upright riding position it’s comfortable for a long ride, but mostly suited for green laning or off-road riding – it’s not the right machine for long motorway trips. Picking up speeds of around 60mph comfortably, Honda’s FX 650 Vigor has brilliant fuel consumption and pretty decent build quality.

The handling of the Honda FX 650 Vigor is impressive even when you’re hitting up the higher speeds around 70 – 80 mph, you’ve got plenty of power to get yourself round corners and over obstacles if you’re using it for off-road purposes.

It’s a pretty easy bike to maintain, all it needs is a little love and frequent oil changes (dependent on miles you’re doing) and it’ll keep like a dream.
