Honda has built loads of legendary commuting 125 scooters over the years – and the Forza is one of the best. It’s a good-looking, sophisticated city slicker, with maxi-scooter styling, high-end components and super-economical running costs.

Under the smooth bodywork is a clean, green four-stroke single cylinder 125cc motor, with automatic transmission, for twist-and-go ease round town. Even more impressive is the auto stop-start system, which turns the engine off completely when you’re at a stop in traffic like a modern car, saving fuel and emissions. Twist the throttle to pull away, and the motor bursts into life in an instant.

There’s plenty of underseat storage, and with a stylish Honda top box fitted, you’ll be able to carry a week’s shopping in ease. The electrically adjustable windscreen lets you raise the shield for higher-speed trips on fast dual carriageways, then lower it for cooling breeze in town. Michelin tyres and an advanced ABS system boosts safety on slippery city streets, and a keyless ignition and central locking setup adds security, convenience and a high-tech touch.

The Forza is a bit pricier than more basic alternatives. But if you add in Honda’s build quality and reliability, plus the widespread dealer backup, and improved resale values, it might be much better value than you think.
