Honda CBR250R Bike Overview
The Honda CBR250R is great for anyone who wants a comfortable, modern stylish machine which is capable of delivering high mpg figures.
This Honda does look like a big-bike and as long as you’re not super tall, you’ll find it comfortable to ride. There’s also enough seat room to move backwards if you have long arms. Suspension feels fairly plush, and braking feels solid. As for the engine, you won’t feel like it is anything pulse-racing! It offers 26bhp at the crank but it is still a pleasure riding this bike. You can easily reach 75mph on the motorway or open road and you won’t feel too much vibration at this speed either. Honda quotes a 75mpg fuel consumption, but we aren’t so sure it would deliver this.
You can pick up this bike at a really good deal. This all new bike must have cost Honda a lot to make, so how we can get it for around £3500 new is a mystery to us. You get a digital dash, steering lock and catalyser all thrown in for this cost. Also look out for an ABS version which might cost you a tad more.
You can good value for money for this bike and the Honda reliable name behind it – what more could you ask for?

Owner Reviews
Pros
I would definitely recommend the bike as a first step after passing your test, or for anyone returning to bikes after time off. Nemo seems set to make me a happy rider, and to take me up to a comfort level that I can then step up to a larger bike from.
Cons
Gear position- very close to the body, compared to my last bike. Took some adjustment to get used to.

Handles exceptionally well under adverse conditions. Smooth control, rapid acceleration and powerful engine braking make it easy to keep under control.
Acceleration is ludicrous by comparison to the 125 I came up from. Engine is very responsive, even second gear is enough to hit 40 to 50 before red lining. Control of speed is very easy and comfortable.

Lost a star due to an issue with the 'fender extender' grinding against the wheel, thought this isn't necessarily a fault with them all. Otherwise, doesn't seem to have any build quality issues.
Brakes function perfectly, coupled with proper engine braking there are no issues whatsoever.
