Honda CBF250 Bike Overview
The cute Honda CBF250 is perfect for new bikers. It has a good amount of power, is good for quick commutes and is easy to throw around.
One of the great things about the Honda CBF250 is the bar/seat positioning and how light weight it is making for an enjoyable ride. It’s also quite narrow in width, which makes the Honda CBF250 great for town riding. It won’t reach a great speed but it does feel quite nippy.
In terms of the engine, the Honda CBF250 is a 249cc and a very smooth delivery. You’ll get up to around 65mph on this bike – not the fastest model but decent enough even if you’re on a motorway – although it might get quite revvy. It is a comfortable ride though; the seat is comfy and the dash is clear, with two large electronic dials.
The Honda CBF250 is well finished, true to the Honda name. If you’re considering reliability, usually Honda models perform well and are built to last. However, there was a recall on some Honda CBF250s after problems with the ignition coil which seemed to affect the engine performance, so you may want to look into this further with your bike dealer.
You won’t be disappointed with the price on this Honda. The Honda CBF250 is excellent value, with a low insurance group and small running costs. If you feel like levelling up then check out the Honda CBF600….
