Ducati 900SS Overview
One of Ducati’s most iconic sports bikes from the 1990s, the Ducati 900SS is a classic bike lovers dream right now!
Released in 1990, Ducati embraced the retro race bike style with the canary yellow colouring and chunky fairings. The engine is pretty reliable as are the brakes, but it’s not the most comfortable bike on the market – even at the time it was released, it left a lot to be desired!
Like most bikes released in the early 90’s, the equipment is very basic – it wasn’t a big deal like it is today. It might not be as nimble as a modern bike but the 900SS can still glide in and out of corner pretty well, all things considering.
By 2002, the Ducati 900SS was discountinued however it did see a few updates over its 12 year life span including major bodywork, new wheels and higher bars in 2000.
