BMW R nineT Urban G/S Bike Overview
Released in 2017, the BMW R nineT Urban G/S is a modernized version of the classic BMW R80 G/S. Certainly created to stand out from the crowd, the generic design, titled ‘Light White’ features a red bench seat and white and blue paintwork on the body.
The G/S has been described as being extremely similar to the R NineT Scrambler, with the major differences being the seat, front fairing and exhaust.
The G/S is a very reliable bike with high attention to detail, this is matched by the ease of handling which is aided by the same chassis and wheels as the Scrambler. The brakes have ABS as standard and match the quality of the rest of the motorcycle.
This retro looking bike sounds as good as it looks, with a unique deep tone that you may not expect to come out of a modern BMW machine.
All in all, at a price of little over £10,550, the BMW R nineT Urban G/S is a good-looking, well performing motorcycle based on an old classic, with modern day perks and accessories.

It's a heavy bike at around 220 kg but once moving steering is fairly easy and feels planted. Howeber there is something about It makes it really fun to ride.
The boxer can be laid right back in traffic but pulls like a train if your want it.
The big air cooled motor isn't the most frugal, but I dont believe its anywhere close to the worst.
I've had it since brand new and some minor indicator wires failed which needed replacing but it has been working rock solid.
Not amazing but adequate with always enough to stop you.
