BMW G 310 R Bike Overview
If you’re looking for an affordable A2-licence small capacity bike that’s reliable and good for fun, easy, local riding the G310R may just be for you. As well as being reasonably priced for a BMW machine, the bike is also good value to run.
Introduced as the perfect bike for a new A2 licence holder, the G310R is easy to control at low speed and can produce real power when called upon. What may raise some eyebrows about this reliable motorcycle is that the 4v single-cylinder powerplant is fitted backwards, with the intake at the front and the exhaust at the rear of the engine. This is said to improve the motorcycles weight distribution as well as improve the air flow efficiency.
It has been said this BMW bike isn’t the best when travelling at low speeds, with the clutch suffering from stiff downshifts which can become frustrating. The faster you go on this machine, the better and easier to control it is.
The BMW G310R certainly looks the part, with a choice of three colour schemes; HP Motorsport, Cosmic black one, and Racing red; this bike looks sporty and capable of much more power as it is styled like the S1000R.

The bike is powerful but could do with some more low end power.
