BMW C 650 Sport Bike Overview
Powered by a 647cc parallel twin engine, this premium maxi scooter is capable of producing 60bhp and 7,750 maximum torque. With a maximum speed of 111mph, this is not your average scooter and that is shown by the RRP of the bike sitting at a hefty £9,600.
The quality of the bike is comparable to that of the C600 Sport, which has never been a problematic machine and so as you would expect, the C650 Sport is equally reliable.
As the name suggests, this maxi scooter prioritises pace and power over comfort, so if you’re looking to spend hours on the road this is probably not the machine for you. This is more a bike that was built for urban streets and short trips, which again, brings the price tag into question.
Affective at filtering through traffic and easy to manoeuvre, this scooter would be perfect for commuting, though weighing in at 237kg, it is not the easiest to move around.
Some have described this as the best scooter on the market, and this may be down to the equipment that comes with it, these including the adjustable screen, plenty of space for storage, and a heated seat and heated grips on the Highline model.
