Suzuki Inazuma 250 Bike Overview
The Suzuki Inazuma 250 is the ideal bike for someone who wants a lighter and nippier ride without compromising on the big bike look. It is an easy bike for novices to pick up, fantastic for weaving through traffic and just enough to take out on longer journeys if required as well. There has been some debate over whether the bike is cheap enough for what you get but just take a look at any of the reviews online and you’ll see that most owners are happy with what they get from the Inazuma 250.
The Inazuma 250 has a 248cc parallel twin engine which isn’t the most powerful motor on the market but it is certainly able to handle itself on commuting journeys and is incredible economic. You might struggle to get the speed you need if regularly taking the bike out on the motorway but for shorter journeys or the occasional longer ride, it should do the job perfectly well. That said, the engine is smooth and responsive with very limited issues no matter how many miles you eat up.
Suzuki’s Inazuma 250 was marketed as an all-rounder and although it may not quite fulfill this brief, if you want a nippy bike which is perfect for the daily commute and won’t cost the earth in fuel when you are spending a large portion of your time in stop and start traffic – then you should definitely take a closer look. If speed is what you are looking for then the Inazuma is probably not the bike for you; but aside from this, it’s a real quality number.

For a small bike the ride is exceptional. It is smooth, responds quickly to the throttle and can buzz along at the legal limits all day. Cornering, as far as I have tried which isn't that far, is excellent even when carrying a full load.
Judging it as what it is, a small capacity engine, the Inazuma flies. The acceleration is brilliant. It flies up to 70mph with out a problem, even when carrying a load of gear. The engine is responsive and smooth.
The back brake lever!!
This would have been 5stars except for a recurring fault with the back brake pedal. This has started to stick on and had a recall repair done. It has started again since. Otherwise the bike is very well put together and excellent quality
The bike brakes well and is never a concern when needed. There is excellent grip. The only issue being the recurring back brake pedal sticking.
