Honda Zoomer 50 Bike Overview
There’s no getting away from the fact that the Honda Zoomer 50 is a moped and possibly the smallest bike in Honda’s range. It has a 4bhp, liquid-cooled single cylinder, four-stroke 50cc engine with a V-matic gearbox and an electronic start-up alongside a low seat, and a big padded seat. There’s no room for a pillion so this is a bike just for one.
The small engine means that you aren’t going to be breaking any speed limits; the Zoomer 50 is pretty much limited to 30mph and that is perhaps why we don’t see so many of them in the UK. If you only wanted to use a Honda for riding around town then this would be an economic choice but if you ever wanted to venture further afield then you’d struggle immensely.
That said, they are also a good place to start if you are wondering whether biking is for you, and you want a Honda bike, without having to invest as much money as you might in an entry-level bike. There are cheaper mopeds on the market but Honda’s are known for being reliable and economic which might just sway you to invest.
On top of that, this is a nippy and attractive bike; it is possible to customise the bike to make it truly your own and there are many online outlets which sell the right kind of parts to do that. The low seat makes it a comfortable ride and there’s plenty of leg room too so you can look as good as your bike does when riding around town.

Owner Reviews
Pros
Very reliable, trendy looking bike. There are shed loads of custom parts that could be purchase (from the USA – where the bike is called the Ruckus). If you want a moped and you can afford one, you're not going to get better. A cracking little bike
Cons
Basic equipment levels Holds it's value, expensive to buy

It's a Honda Moped, it's very easy to ride, corners well enough but still restricted to 30mph
It's an engine that just keeps on giving – owned the bike for 10 years and it's never let me down (not once).

Can't fault it, it's a Honda, solidly built (especially for a moped)
Certainly suitable for the bike, but could be a little better
