Piaggio Vespa PX125 Bike Overview
One of the scooters from the Piaggio stable that has remain practically unchanged for almost four decades, save for a few subtle changes to help it to qualify to Euro emission standard tests. It houses a two stroke engine single cylinder engine that churns out 15 bhp. Definitely a drop in the ocean, but remember this is not a power driven sports bike that you could rev and take off. The scooter is all about looking cool and not hurtling down the street.
In terms of equipment the scooter only comes with the basics, a fuel gauge and speedometer with manual switchgear operated by twist-shift on the left handle bar. Do not expect any baggage space beneath the seat, as there is a storage compartment above the leg shield beneath the dash. The twist-gear mechanism takes some practice to get the hang of it, although once accustomed it will come naturally.
A good scooter to invest it as long as you take care of it and get it serviced periodically. No major niggles if you treat the bike well and handle it like a scooter not a sports bike.

Pros
I wanted one 30 + years ago and I finally got one. Now where's the in-crowd at? You either get it or you don't
Cons
Not much has changed in 70 years, is now the time to start?
