With the festive season upon us, it’s time to dust off those fancy-dress outfits and decorate your machines to join in with the seasonal and charity events happening around the UK this December.
Event: Unwanted MCC’s Christmas Party
When? Saturday 10th December

What’s on?
Bands and the Booze Brothers Rock Disco. Festive Fancy dress. Overnight camping (there is always room in the club, just bring your air bed and sleeping bag), disabled access and loo’s. And also a raffle!
Admission: £5 per ticket. Book in advance if possible
Event: Three Amigos Annual Toy Run
When? Saturday 10th December
Where? Meet at 12pm from the Commons Car Park, Pembroke, South West Wales, SA71 4EA
What’s on?
In aid of the local Children’s wards and disabled children in the care of the local NCH. Bring a toy or donate. Presents should be unwrapped and new. 1pm departure.
Event: Normous Newark Autojumble
When? Sunday 11th December
Where? Newark Showground, Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire, England, NG24 2NY
What’s on?
This autojumble caters to both classic motorcycles and cars. The trade stalls are situated both inside and outside. There is also a large display of classic cars and motorcycles. Parking is free.
Gates open at 10am. For an extra fee, you can enter the jumble from 8am.
Admission: ‘Early-bird’ entry fee (from 8am) is £10 (not classics) then after 10am £7; classic/interesting vehicles driver/rider (from 9:30am) £5, passenger/pillion £7.
Event: Roughley’s Toy Run
When? Sunday 11th December
Where? Stockport Tesco (near Manchester), Tiviot Way, Portwood, Stockport, Cheshire, SK1 2BT
What’s on?
Bring some cheer to those children who are less fortunate than us by bringing a toy to give to them. The run will be leaving Tesco’s in Stockport at 12pm prompt proceeding to The Rainbow Family Trust in Didsbury, then on to The Together Trust in Cheadle, learner-friendly route. If you could mark the gifts with either male/female and approximate age (don’t forget teenagers), as that would help so much.
Admission: Cash donations are welcome
Event: Toy Run – Ace Café

What’s on?
The Café’s Annual Christmas Toy Run into Central London departs at 11am to attend the Children’s wards of three hospitals:
St. Mary’s (Paddington) 11:45am – 12:15pm, Royal Brompton (Chelsea) 1pm – 1:30pm and Evelina Children’s Hospital (Westminster) 2pm – 2:30pm.
As always, any surplus gifts will be distributed to various children’s homes and groups. Please bring gifts that are wrapped and clearly labelled boy/girl/age. Please no stuffed toys or sweets as requested by the nurses.

Event: Cambridge Bikers Christmas Toy Run

What’s on?
Join lots of other bikers in a truly spectacular ride to Addenbrookes Hospital taking gifts and toys to those in hospital over the festive period. Previous years have seen three miles of bikes riding into Cambridge with many in fancy dress. Meet at 9am ready to ride at 9:45am. Bacon rolls, tea and coffee should be on offer.
Admission: Just bring a toy or gift for someone in hospital. One gift per rider or pillion.
Event: Xmas Lincoln Autojumble
When? Saturday 17th December
Where? Near Caenby Corner at the junction of the A15 and A631 and only 10 miles from the M180, Dn21 5TJ
What’s on?
This is a large autojumble for cars, motorcycles, lorries, tractors, machinery and tools. Display vehicles are invited to attend. Open 8am to 12:30pm.
Admission: Free. Parking is £2 per car.
Event: Paws n’ Claws Run – Ace Café
When? Sunday 18th December

What’s on?
Meeting at the Ace Café from 7am to depart the café at 10:30am to attend the Mayhew Animal Home in Kensal Rise, NW10. Entirely funded and dependent upon public support, the Mayhew welcomes all to bring gifts. Gifts to include towels, blankets (used for bedding), as well as pet food and treats for cats and dogs.
On the same day, why not join other riders for the Ace Café’s annual candlelit Christmas Carol Service, from 7pm, followed by complementary hot, oven fresh mince pies.
Event: Unwanted MCC New Year’s Eve Party

What’s on?
Come along and celebrate the New Year at The Rockbar. Free buffet supplied by the club. Overnight camping, disabled access, loo’s. Raffle.
