What’s on for bikers in June
The warmer weather means only one thing – more time on your bike! There’s no better time than now to put on your helmet and get social with other likeminded riders. For our favourite events in the upcoming month, take a look at the following:
KTM Adventure Demo Day
Date: 14th June
Event: KTM Adventure Demo Day
Squires, one of our extremely popular sponsored café’s is holding a test ride day not to be missed! If you’re into KTM and would like the opportunity of test riding a range of their popular adventure bikes including the new 1290 Super Adventure then head on over to Squires!
Be sure to bring your full licence with you and an empty stomach, because the breakfasts at this biker café are great!

The 2015 Kent Pet Food Run – Kent
Date: 14th June
Event: The 2015 Kent Pet Food Run
The Meldrews and Kent Riders bring you a ride out that aims to raise much needed pet food donations for the Last Chance Animal Rescue. The run will be leaving from Maidstone Services at 11:30am. This may well be the last ever Kent Pet Food Run, so if you’re in the Maidstone area why not pop down for a ride!

Ride to Work Week
Date: 15th – 21st June
Event: Ride to Work Week
There’s not long to go until this great campaign kicks off! Why not show the other motorists on the roads that riding to work really is the best way to commute by riding your bike in every day of this week.
This campaign was created with the aim of making more people aware of the benefits of riding a motorcycle; for example less congestion, reduced travel cost and the time saved by not having to wait around in rush hour traffic! So get on those bikes and join this great cause!
The Farmyard Party
Date: 19-21 June
Event: The Farmyard Party
The biggest bike only rally in Europe will be held in Helmsley, North Yorkshire. Run by volunteers of The Motorcycle Action Group Yorkshire, The Farmyard Party promises to be a barrel of laughs for all those who attend.
You can expect over twenty live bands performing across three stages, comedy shows, Bike Street Heroes bike show, four bars serving cheap beer and loads of food vans dishing up scrumptious fare.
Venue: The Farmyard Party, Duncombe Park Estate, Helmsley, North Yorkshire, YO62 5EB
Prices: £30 if you pre-book by 11 June or £40 at the gate. Prices cover all camping and entertainment.
The Overland Event – 19-21 June

Event: The Overland Event
One for the sophisticated biker…
The Overland Event is a weekend of entertainment and celebration of all things to do with motorcycle touring and travel.
You can expect to meet authors of fine riding books, watch motorcycle films, test drive a range of bikes, listen to thought provoking presentations and enjoy music from performers coming in from all over the globe.
Venue: The Black Horse, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, HP16 9AX
Prices: £40 by 1 June, includes a t-shirt. £10 extra for those coming with a campervan.
#Ride2Cure
Date: 20 June
Event: #Ride2Cure
If charity rides are your thing then this is definitely an occasion not to be missed. Organised by the Neuroblastoma Children’s Alliance UK, your participation in this ride will make a difference to the lives of children who suffer from cancer.
The starting point is the renowned Ace Cafe in London and it finishes at the Squires Cafe Bar in Leeds.
The Squires Cafe is immensely popular with riders due to its fantastic atmosphere, great food, friendly staff and onsite camping.
Prices: £40 includes T-shirt and sticker
