Peugeot Django Bike Overview
Peugeot know a thing or two about the scooter market, and the Django is one of their most popular models – it comes in three different versions – 50cc, 125cc and 150cc, meaning it’s great for learners, 16 year-olds or those with AM entitlements on their driving licences. For style, price, storage and reliability the Peugeot Django ticks all the boxes.
The quality of the Peugeot Django is impressive, especially with its Vespa stylings but at the fraction of a cost. It’s kitted out with modern features and looks pretty smart too.
Peugeot Django is fitted with a simple air-cooled, fuel injected engine – it’s got the classic scooter characteristics which makes it a very popular machine for learners. Not kitted out with ABS, the brakes are still fairly decent on the Django, you’re also going to feel the bumps and lumps in the road beneath but what else can you expect on such a small machine.
Top speeds of 65mph and insanely good fuel consumption, Django is ideal for commuting around town or a little trip down the dual carriageway. It’s comfortable enough with its upright seating position and it’s also got storage under the storage, big enough for a small bag or an open-faced helmet.
Prices for a brand new Django 125cc model start around £3,000 but you’ll probably be able to pick up a pre-loved one cheaper.
