Initially launched back in 1999, the BMW K1200LT has had many face lifts over the years including the LUX addition being added to the list.

BMW’s K1200LT has been a firm favourite for a long time, with its spacious two-up seating and impressive 1171cc engine, it’s great for touring and all-round riding experience. The LUX version is the luxury package which would’ve cost over £15,000 from new and it was given to every BMW K1200 LT in 2008. The LUX version includes everything from heated grips, cruise control to anti-theft system and central locking from panniers and top box. Oh, and we can’t forget our personal favourite, heated seating – it’s pure luxury all year round!

The front headlight has also had some jazzing up with the Xenon headlight kit, which means there’s an additional light below the central headlight unit and by working separately, they offer better illumination than your standard headbeam.
