Kawasaki J300 Bike Overview
Introduced in 2014, the Kawasaki J300 is a 299cc scooter powered by a liquid-cooled four-stroke single cylinder engine, capable of producing 27bhp and a maximum torque of 6,250rpm.
Weighing in at 191kg, the J300 is heavier than the light 125cc machines on the market, yet lighter than the heavy, large maxi scooters on offer.
Comfort and handling are excellent, with the scooter being fun to drive around urban areas, filtering effectively, with a saddle that is comfy even after a long days ride. The curved floorboards make it easier to reach the floor when coming to a halt, which is always handy.
The under seat storage has plenty of room for a full size helmet, with a glovebox on the underside of the left handle bar offering enough room for your wallet and mobile phone. This glovebox has a 12V socket hidden inside in order to charge your phone whilst out on the road.
In terms of design, the Kawasaki J300 is available in black, white, silver, or for an extra £100, the black and green special edition.

Owner Reviews
Pros
Having been riding a Triumph Thunderbird for four years the J300 is a revelation, speed, comfort and overall handling and comfort.
Cons
I would like to be able to put my feet further forward but it's not a big problem.

Big comfortable seat
No problems, feels solid and well put together.
Spot on brakes, abs is very, very good.
The J300 is so easy to ride. For a scooter it's quite a revelation, plenty of guts keep up with traffic even with two up, handling is also very good.
Plenty of power, will cruise at 70 + no problem even with two up.
80mpg, what more could you want.
