BMW R nineT Racer Bike Overview

The most retro R nineT model of the bunch, the Racer appears to be something straight from the 60’s or 70’s. This café racer forces you to somewhat lie on the bike, with a sport-style seating position, pushed forward handlebars and high-set, far back footrests.

The stylish white design, with blue, navy and red streaks running through it adds to the retro feel of the bike, yet the darker mechanical parts and technology stand out clearly and add to the aesthetics of the machine.

Although it may appear retro, the bikes performance is brought to life with some of the latest machinery and technology. The Euro 4 compliant air cooled 1,170cc two cylinder Boxer engine produces 110bho as well as maximum torque of 6,000rpm. The bike has a sturdy steel tubular frame and reliable dual 320mm discs with Brembo 2 piston calipers up front and rear 265mm disc with 2 piston caliper.

Much like the other BMW R nineT models, this bike is open to customization and modifications, this meaning the original design is streamlined and light. If the Light White design is not for you, this classy café racer is also available in Black Storm Metallic / Aurum.
