Cagiva Raptor 650 Overview
Cagiva launched the 650 Raptor back in 2000 as a lightweight to middleweight motorcycle, an infusion of Italian style and Japanese technology.
If you’re on the shorter side, the Cagiva 650 Raptor could be the bike for you, it’s very low in centre and has a decent seat height of 775mm. It’s a great bike you’re planning on some longer commuter on A roads or weekend ride outs – it has the exact same engine as the Suzuki SV650 so there’s no complaints there. You’ve got plenty of power, especially in lower gears and it doesn’t feel too clunky when moving up and picking up speed.
You’ve not got all the bells and whistles on the Cagiva 650 Raptor but it still does the job at hand. It’s got a decent seating position, comfortable enough on longer riders. Decent brakes and Pirelli tyres as standard.
You’ll probably be able to pick up a second hand version now fairly cheap.
