Yamaha WR125X Bike Overview
While similar to the WR-125 R, the Yamaha WR125X comes with everything required to make a world class supermoto.
It comes endowed with stylish looks, a terrific new engine, robust build and is a pleasure to ride. It is for those bikers who are serious about riding with the only downer being its expensive price and rather tall seating.
Its feisty single cylinder engine is water cooled and probably the best in its league. It is quick, revs like a dream and smooth to zip along the motorway. While it’s top speed is about 70mph it will move faster on downhill roads.
What makes the ride all the more enjoyable is its superb handling, which complements the top notch performance of the engine.
The suspensions are slick and smooth and come with preload adjustment at the rear. While the seat is high it is okay for those who are of average or tall height.
The braking is strong and sharp and works well in city traffic. The bike is well built and sturdy with quality components that last for a long time.
There are no complaints with the engine and as long as you take it in for its customary maintenance schedules, it should perform without much trouble.
With superb sports looks, outstanding road performance and well suited for on and off-road riding, it is an all round bike that is a good investment for someone looking to buy their first bike.
