MOTORCYCLE INSURANCE CUSTOMER SERVICE:
POLICY CHANGES
What changes in circumstance do I need to inform you about?
You will need to inform us of any change in circumstance that is
different from the information originally disclosed. This can be
anything from a change of address or occupation, change of mileage
and use of the vehicle to getting married or divorced – the
list is endless. If you are uncertain as to whether any change in
circumstance may affect your policy, please give us a call on 0845
300 4870. Calls may be recorded. Maximum call charge from
a BT landline is 4p per minute (minimum 5p per call). Calls from
other networks may vary.
Can I change my motorcycle mid-term?
Yes you can. Just give us a call on 0845 300 4870
and one of our motorcycle insurance advisors can run through a new
quote.
Can I protect my no claim discount mid-term?
Unfortunately this can only be effected at inception or at the
renewal date of a policy.
Can I add additional motorcycles to my policy?
It is possible to add additional motorcycles to insurance policies,
although some of our underwriters do not offer this. Just call us
on 0845 300 4870 and speak to an advisor to find
out if this is possible with your policy.
Can I increase my cover mid-term?
It is possible to do this but not all the underwriters will allow
this mid-term. You would need to check with an advisor if this
is possible on your policy.
Can I change my motorcycle after a total loss claim?
With most of our insurers this is fine; however not all our
insurers will allow this, so you would need to check your policy
schedule or with an advisor.
Can I decrease cover mid-term?
Yes you can, but it might not necessarily save you any money.
Can I add a rider to my policy?
This is possible but not all insurers offer this, so you would
need to ask an advisor.
What details do I need for a quote to change my motorcycle?
You would need the motorcycle make and model, the year it was made,
the registration (only needed if the substitution is to be effected),
how much the vehicle is worth, and details of any security device
that may be on the motorcycle.
What do I do if I need to change my address?
Just call us on 0845 300 4870 and an advisor will
take down the details and update our system (we will need the post
code of the new address).
Calls may be recorded. Maximum call charge from a BT landline is
4p per minute (minimum 5p per call). Calls from other networks may
vary.
